We went on a walk with zoey It was getting windy so we decided to head back but on the way she was so observant she noticed that the wind was blowing away the leafs on the ground so she decided to save every leaf she could from its inpending doom of landing in a new spot... how sweet "Kerry" But I'm Helpin ya....

ok here's another story, the day started off great. she was having a blast

It was summer time and she loved being outside

Last weekend we went to Marians and Gerards
for Faith's Birthday and the girls were having a
blast with her they kept pushing zoey around in
this laundry basket, she would hold on the the edge
with this huge smile on her face, she loved it my only
concern with that is i think she is an adrenilin junkey
Im afraid were in trouble.

Faith, Maddison, Zoey, what a great day they are
some of the cutest girls. Zoey has some great cousins
to look up to for direction and i couldnt pick two better
influneces. If she grows up to be like either of them then
I truly succesfully achieved raising a daughter of God...

She had a great teacher. One she loves more than life itself.

They had the time of their life palying together and it will

be a memory i cherish forever and a picture that will be

Grandpa Walker was playing for her and trying to

get her to go to sleep and with a mixture of that and

an empty pop can and singing she finally gave in to sleep

She was so entranced when he played she wouldnt watch

anything else she loved to hear him play to her about as much

Ok so for those of you who do actually still follow this post even though I have been much less than diligent about the posting and updating of such Blog hooray for you. We have revised revamped and have now trained a second poster for it. Karalee has vowed to be better about it than I have been. Good luck to her and to all of you. As for actching you up on what you have all missed I must say that it will be unfortunate that you will not be able view all that has happened here on our Blog. That's what visits to our home are for. (hint, hint). However Karalee has said she will choose some of the highlights to share with you so it doesn't seem like we went from pumpkin eater to the present so drastically.

As for this post, the title does say it all. Our sweet little angel has had her fair share of issues with ear infections in her short life so far. Recently she has had a double ear infection that has been on going for six weeks. Well the Doctors finally all got together and decided there where no other options. Zoey gets tubes. Despite her pain and annoyance from her infections she has still been just a sweet heart, loving both mommy and daddy, and especially her Great Grandfather Walker. She has melted that man's heart. Following are some of the pictures from her outing.

Zoey was just loving all the attention from the nurses. She didn't even seem to mind all the fun new clothes and accesories. As you can see by her willingness to model her new fashion.

Isn't she just adorable. She even took her blankie in with her so she would feel more at home. I am so proud of my little trooper. All smiles.

Yes she is laughing. Zoey loves to laugh and smile and melt hearts, and I must admit that she is getting pretty darn good at it as well. The staff just adored her and couldn't help coming around to see her any chance they got.

During surgery Zoey's Doctor said he found so much fluid built up in her ears that he was surprised that she could even hear anything at all. Also apparently infants have a devil of a time coming out of the anesthesia. Zoey struggled with it all day, she mainly slept and would awaken every so often to cry histerically for a few moments before finding comfor in mommy or daddy's shoulder. However now she is fully recoverd and you would have never guessed anything was wrong. She is ever more so talkative now though we still can't get her to say Mama. It will come soon enough. Also she is so close to crawling it's scary. We are not nearly ready for it yet, but we are getting excited. I'll have to see about getting a short video up for you to see.

A little while back Zoey's cousin Wesley finally got to come see her. He was so cute and darling that evening. He was so excited to see her that he would run over and say "Look Baby Zoey" and then run away giggling. Despite early hesitation he quickly fell in love with her and they became best friends.

Apparently Zoey wore Kyle out and they decided to take a nap together.

Well Zoey deffinetly thinks highly of herself and has mandated that we supply her with her own little tanning bed for her pleasure and enjoyment. Lucky for us we found a cute little one that fits perfectly into her bassinet. So here she is finally our little Zoey Jane Done born 7:16 pm August 24 2009 6 lbs 15 ounces and 18 inches long. We are so exicted and mother and daughter are doing wonderful.

The Tornado Weekend

So we had the wonderful opportunity to have Karalee's Mom and her sister Chelsie come spend a long weekend with us. What a weekend it turned out to be from more food than most of us could imagine to the "Nerts Marathon" of '09 and just an all around wonderful time by all. Amongst the high lights of the weekend was of course the time we all got to spend with each other and of course cute little Hadley Tyler and Chelsie's very cute little daughter. She is such an adorable little child and as usual we are all glad to have cute children in the family. We enjoyed having everyone here with us in our home to spend time and fun. We even got to see some extended family while everyone was here.

And In the Beginning

Hello family and friends this could be the beginning of something interesting. So as most of you know we are pregnant and we are now 14 weeks along. Karalee and I had some scary times early on as we had some tears that cause bleeding and she was put on bed rest for two weeks. However the condition healed on its own, and now things are looking well. Last week we went in for an ultrasound to rule out the possiblity of our new little one having the same condition we ran into last year. So excited and nervous we met with the ultrasound tech and stared intently at the little screen as all the fuzziness turned into our beautiful little baby. With a side profile view of our baby we could clearly see a full skull on screen that put smiles on both of our faces. Little hands and feet were also evident and added to our excitement and enthusiasm. However strategically crossed legs prevented any possibility of early determination as to what we are having. So we will of course have to wait until our next visit and as always we will keep everyone updated. We appreciate all the love and support that all of you are showing us and can't wait to keep you updated on our lives and developments. Hopefully photos will follow soon.
